April 08, 2019
A BOIL WATER NOTICE is being issued for members in the Highway 7 North of 979, Willow Creek Road, Headsville Road, Tillman Road, Taite Road, EB Watson Road, Dunn Road, Wasik Road, Boyd Road, FM 2954 and surrounding areas who were recently affected by the water outage on April 7, 2019.
TCEQ Required Notice:
Due to conditions caused by maintenance of the water system, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requires the Robertson County Water Supply Corporation, PWS 1980013, to notify all customers in the above listed area to boil their water prior to consumption.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and for making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to consumption. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source. When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. Instructions to discontinue boiling will be issued in the same manner as this notice.
If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact John Elliott or Chad Meadors at RCWSC 979-828-4721.
