Groundwater Conservation District Fee

Since the inception of the Brazos Valley Groundwater District, a water production fee, per thousand gallons of water produced has been imposed on our system.  In the past we have absorbed these costs as they were relatively inexpensive.  The Groundwater District recently increased the fee we are charged.  To keep our rates as low as possible the board chose to pass these costs on to the members directly.  The rate at which we are changes is .04625 cents per 1000/gallons of water.

We have not had a rate increase in three years and will continue to try to operate within the current rate structure.  We appreciate your understanding in this matter.  If you would like more information, please feel free to contact our office.  We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.

Thank you,
